Statement of Values
Founded in 2004 by Lisa Wigfall, a community activist, Quality Home Care Services, Inc. (QHCS) is a local and national leader in the fight against HIV/AIDS, assisting individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues, and offering personal care services. We collaborate with community organizations to develop and improve HIV/AIDS, mental health, and personal care services; coordinate prevention, care, and advocacy projects; and champion effective, compassionate HIV/AIDS policy.
QHCS is built on a foundation of widely shared values. These values include:

I. Personal and Professional Integrity
All staff, board members, and volunteers of the Quality Home Care Services, Inc. (QHCS) act with honesty, integrity, and openness in our dealings as representatives of the organization. QHCS promotes a working environment that values respect, fairness, and integrity, and we put the needs of the organization in front of personal gain and interest.
The Quality Home Care Services, Inc. (QHCS) has a clearly stated mission and purpose, approved by the board of directors, in pursuit of the public good.
Our mission is to lead the fight against HIV/AIDS, mental health and substance abuse issues and improve the lives of people affected by the HIV/AIDS epidemic and for those who suffer from substance and mental illnesses.
All of our programs support our mission and all who work for, or on behalf of, the organization understand and are loyal to that mission and purpose. The mission is responsive to the constituency and communities served by the organization and of value to society at large.

Basic informational data about the organization, such as the annual report and audited financial statements, will be posted on our website or otherwise available to the public. All solicitation materials accurately represent QHCS’s policies and practices and will respect the dignity of program beneficiaries. All financial, organizational, and program reports will be complete and accurate in all material respects.
